drymaster tool problem
« on: June 11, 2009, 06:40:10 pm »
I have a Drimaster Mk 1 hand tool. The chrome section ie the jet assembly has come out with a small brass pipe and nut on the end. Does anyone know how to get this back?  I can unscrew the hose but how do I access the Inside of the hand tool?

Cheers Paul

Take the window out and take the underside numpty /valve out. It will then all come out through the window aperture.

Thanks Glyn, I have finally got round to dismantling it. I have removed the perspex
cover and the metal plate underneath. I have removed the securing nut holding the valve/shut off lever and small collar nut. But I find the spindle of the valve is too long to go through the hole in the body.

Any idea's

Cheers Paul

Turn valve upside down (  think from memory ) it WILL come out though.
Actually, undo the small nut which the valve spindle comes through and then the spindle will come out, making it all smaller.
