« on: June 20, 2009, 07:06:59 am »
I have noticed around this area if someone has new windows fitted about half of them have scratches on glass . Now check glass before cleaning and tell custy if they are damaged before cleaning .
Has anyone else noticed this

the windows in my brand spanking new house have lots of protective tape in inaccessible places that the glazers clearly couldnt be bothered to remove properly, keeps making me thing i have missed a bit on the frames, but no, its the tape!

Where I am its the same, at least half of all new windows are scratched or damaged in some way. I even clean one house that has a very clear and obvious hand print on the kitchen window between the double glazing! Most windows here are supplied by one big manufacturer, and the quality is shocking. They are always 30% cheaper than the competition tho, so they sell loads.
