About Your Investment In Your Home!

Dear Mrs (insert name)

As A hard working person you want your money to go a long way. And when possible give you good returns. None more than the money you spend on your home.

You home will represent the biggest investment that you will make in you life. And maintaining that investment has to be a top priority.

Wear and tear has to be the biggest problem.

So how can you combat this problem? The answer is to set up a maintenance plan to protect your investment.

Take your carpets and upholstery. Most people think that they should only clean when they are dirty. No Turn for two reasons

Reason 1

Wear. What happens over time is that as your carpets and upholstery get dirty the dirt particles wear down the carpet and material.

By waiting for you carpets and upholstery will cause more wear. And when you do have them clean you will then reveal the wear. And in you will then be able to see the wear that has been happening.

Reason 2

Health. As you know dust mite are everywhere in your home. And the longer you leave cleaning the more you home get infected by them. And you also will be letting the partials build up that cause allergies. Check out our web page fro more information and a presentation on this subject at allerg-stop.info

Mrs(insert name)Please let me now introduce myself my name is Ian Harper and I came along last year to clean you carpets or upholstery.

And you said that when I finished that they look like new. Well I have a plane that can keep them looking like new and healthier for longer.

Each year, we invite a select few clients to sign up for our maintenance. With some very special benefits that I will explain when I come along and have a chat to you about them.

Why are we inviting Clients to joint this special group?

Because we have worked out that we can give a better service and more benefits to a select group of people. By having this group of people we will be able to save money on our marketing. We can then pass this saving on to you.

How will you benefit?

1. Half Price Initial Cleaning and AllergSTOP® Application
To help you get started with this maintenance Program, we're only going to ask you to pay for half of the first cleaning and Free application of. AllergSTOP® This is just one of the huge savings and benefits of subscribing to the program.

2. Free Bottle of AllergSTOP® Room Spray
We'll leave a free bottle of AllergSTOP® after the first cleaning so that should you wish to keep your protected on your home between cleans, then you have the FREE Bottle to use. PLUS a FREE lifetime refill bottle of our spotter so you can't take care of the spot or spill yourself then all you need to do is call us and present us with the empty bottle for your new bottle of free life time refill.

3. Free Emergency Spot Removal Visits (worth £50.00 each)
If you or someone in your home should accidentally spill or tread something onto your carpet that you cannot remove yourself, even with the free spot remover we give you, just give us a call and we'll come out at no additional charge to you regular monthly payment and do our best to remove the spot or spill.
4. FREE Highlight Clean Every Half Year

Every six months between each full cleaning, we'll return and clean the main areas that get the most use to help prevent those ugly traffic lanes from reappearing.

(This service is for traffic lanes and limited spots only. No furniture will be moved. We will not be cleaning whole rooms, just those portions of rooms that are spotted or slightly soiled.)

5. One Full Cleaning And AllergSTOP® Application Every 12 Months
At the end of each 12 months, we will return again to re-clean and top-up the AllergSTOP® protection to all the carpets and furniture you have included in this Program (many different programs to fit your budget) with no additional cost to your regular monthly payments.

As you can see, there is tremendous value built into Program. Your carpets and upholstery need never look or smell dirty again. And you will have a healthy home In fact, you'll only change them because you fancy a change, not because they worn out by the dirt.

I'm sure you're thinking, how can they afford to give so much away and still make a living?
Well, thanks for being so concerned, but I'm thinking of long-term. I anticipate that you'll keep the program running for several years, and in the mean time, I get to clean your carpets a little more frequently than I would otherwise, plus I get to know your furnishings. My work becomes a little easier because I am maintaining your furnishings, not trying to restore them. Plus I hope you will tell your family and friends about this program and they will sign up. This will cut my advertising cost, which in carpet cleaning is one of the largest yearly expenses.

I also get a regular monthly cash flow, which means that I don't have to over work myself in the good times of the year to make up from the bad times. This will give me more time to spend with you.
And, most people who subscribe to my program tend to refer me to people they know much more frequently and every time you do I’ll send you £10.00 in cash. This is better than giving it to some advertising agency.

So, you can see exactly how we both benefit from this Program You get a great discount off the first clean, plus free AllergSTOP® and life time refill of spot remover, free emergency spot removals and a allergy and dust mite free healthy home, and I get the security of regular work.
Simply call us now on 0800 191 0263 and tell me that you are interested in my maintenance package

Ian,

I don't think many people will read anything that long which is unsolicited.

Also while you may be convinced of allergstop , your old customer will not have heard of it and will be suspicous.

She may well think if it's that good why is he virtually giving it away.

I think a better approach would be bullet points with explanation to follow.

Due to a general cynicism with the truth of what anyone says  these days , (just look at all the politicans calling each other liars) , it may be a lot harder to convince people.

Cheers,

Doug

I read most of it, then got bored!!

You claim its available to a 'select few', then hope they will recommend you to friends and family, ( so they can become part of the select few).

Be honest, its available to EVERYONE.

Joe Polish meets Allergstop!!!!

Your cashflow has got nothing to do with your clients, its your problem not theirs, why mention it all.

Sounds desperate, your target market will see straight through it, and bin it.

Yes good letter but its same as a letter in fastrack apart from the world changing allerg stop just woundered did you get permission from the owner because i`m sure its a breach of copyright because as i understand it you can use the material if you have paid for the rights to use but i might be wrong just an observation hope every thing goes well with the allerg stop.
just my opinion

Sorry to say it mate but in my opinion this will appeal to the few gullible punters. However I think it's too long and lets be honest....giving the impression that you have hand picked your customers as the 'select few' sounds a little cheesy to me (sorry) - a bit like when you get a letter saying that you have been selected for that platinum credit card with 0% for 6 months. Is this a Joe Polish idea for a letter?

Hi Guys

First Thanks for your input.

Doug, I doont have to convince anyone, because my regular customers get as added value.. in other words itsmy stardard product that I use, and second When you market somthing that is specialised like this product you dont try and sell it to the genral public you market it to suffers.

find the suffers and you find your market where no sell will be requied. Seek out the places that they go, the media that they read. and you preaching to the converted.

With regrads to bullet point. point taken. as I said it is the first version.

Garyj. You got bored because you dont need a carpet cleaner and you spend you money on other things. some people want to keep think nice. thats why we are in business to help them do that.

With regards to select few. yes my marketing plan only has places for as many as i can clean in a year on a regular basis. so yes it true.

You missunderstand I am selling AllergSTOP in this letter I am selling places on my maintenance plan. AllergStop is just an added value to any of my clients.

Gavin. Will send copy ASAP

Malc. Farstrack is a coaching program. and what it teaches is direct responce marketing. Much of what is in this program is avalible in many other information products. As far as the wording goes. I dont need to get any permiission as I was at the seminar in 1999 ( before Robert had thought of this program) when these packages wher introduced. apart from Robert,, andrew walker, and myself and attending from the UK I can say that there is no issue with this.

Ian, Yes that was me sell the truck mount. got my new next generation portable on its way from the USA with autofeed and dump, hose reels, and many other features. great bit of kit.

Sherlock.  The more you tell the more you sell. I have built a maid service on a four page sales letter. sent out over  atwo and half year period to the same drop zone of what i call A! prospects of about 13,000. The business that I now have from this now pays ever bill that i have without me having to do a thing. Long letter work.

Steve Weatherley. Never under estamate your prospect. When I sent out my four page letter i got great feed back. Joe Polish uses Direct responce Marketing. This letter is based on this way of doing things. But better that that I have been sown my the person that teaches Joe.

Lets get this stright. Direct Responce Marketing is a way of marketing and is used in every service and product you can think off. it belongs to no one. Many people teach how you can use this way of marketing. and when you see somthing that looks like  a joe letter you can bet that that letter has been useed in other markets apart from cleaning.

When I went to the USAi in 1999 I did not go as a carpet cleaner I went to learn as first a busnessman and second as a maid service owner. Looking outside your sector for ideas that work is a great way to be the first in you sector to use it and it keps things fresh.

If new ideas are not intrioduced then what happens is that everyone just keep feeding and copying from each other. just look at the yellow pages. how many carpet cleaners use offers to get the call? Its all whats my name, what i do and how you can call me. Not what makes me differant from all the other cleaners on this page. USP. whats Unique about you? whats unique about your service? Why should the prospect call you?

By not telling prospect about what is differant they can only judge you on two things are you local and how much do you charge. Ok when your in if you do a great job selling yourself then you can then get then as a client but if you dont keep contact with the use of sales letter or newsletters then is she going to remember your name in a years time? no

Thats what diect responce marketing is all about and matenance plans make that client YOURS.

Respect To You All.....................Ian Harper
