A Question for the Brits
« on: June 11, 2009, 02:04:53 pm »
Hello all

My company is based in the US and I hear that homeowners in that part of the world get their windows cleaned on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. It does not work well in the US, sadly.

Out of curiosity, how many of your residential clients are regular cleans? (not 1 or 2 times per year)

thanks

Paul

Most of mine are 8 weekly.

I have some larger houses that I clean every 3 or 4 months.

All of the above applies to my work too. Mostly monthly, some bi-monthly and some quarterly.
How about in the US?
I hear in other parts of Europe Window cleaning is less popular than here, perhaps it's our wet weather. Is it universally popular in the States?

You will find that you quote about $200+ for a normal sized home perhaps for just a one off?

These homes over here are done usually on a monthly basis for about $15 - as the windows are not as dirty as if it where a one off, also we dont have screens and tracks to clean and its generally the exterior only.

Id say about 90% of mine are monthly cleans.
