Alright MrD long time no see mate....

When i was working with my step brother we ran 2 100m mini bore hose reels off of one pump pump no problem, just using a Y piece to split the the hose before the reels.

We did this for almost a year , so i would say go for it mate

to many windows not enough window cleaners, same old story.

I've recently taken up wall and floor tiling to gain a visa to move to OZ so i'm finding my work load unmanageable alone so going to have to take someone on to keep on top of it when I get behind from the tiling work.

I figure if i stop turning work down (which I hate doing but has become a regular occurrence lately) I can afford to take some one on for a couple of days a week then build from there.

cheers mate but I've got someone waiting in the wings.

after 7 years of my dad employing so called 'experienced window cleaners' i'd rather train/mould some one my self.

if you want, you could always buy the new pump from gardiners, and hook it up to a 100m reel of microbore 6mm, and add a tap on the end and adjust flow like that,

the problem with adding a flow controler to two reels, is that when one is stopped it will pour it out the other, and they are set up for one reel,

you can alternatibly try connecting up the two reels to the pump without the flow controller and see how that works, but i have only got experience with flojet so not sure about that one

best bet, buy a new pump and controller for £150

thanks for your input Alex, your right I'd thought about that, the H2O wastage would be high because i'd be doing the lions share and when matey boys turned his hose of i'd end up using x4.
