van mount problem
« on: May 03, 2009, 10:19:42 pm »
in the process of turning my freedom trolley into a van mount(still need to use as a trolley for a few jobs),i set it all up today everything seems ok so far the only problem is the hose on the trolley which you normally place into a barrell,i put this in my tank but it doesn,t stop at the bottom and keeps moving up to halfway therefore not working when the water level gets under halfway, could do with something to way it down, how as anyone else solved this problem?cheers guys(sorry if i sound a bit stupid but not really much good at diy) ;D

The tank must have an outlet in the bottom corner. Get an elbow joint on there, a foot or 2 of inch hose with a hozelock on the end.
Put a hozelock on the end of the trolley pipe and connect.

hi gemma

if the tank has no outlet then buy a cheap hose connector and extend the suction hose with a normal piece of garden hose until it happily reaches and stays at the bottom of the tank.
