can you sometimes just never get it right with wfp? only been using a month and had no complaints, hit my last street of the month before all 2nd cleans, think technique is ok, spent lots of time cleaning again and again to keep custies happy on 1st time clean. but hit the last street containing all funny bggers, catagorically telling me NO not that on my house so i gently pursuaded that we would ensure they were right and they would be happy, so then we have 10 custies etc on the watch and high scrutiny and no matter what we did on some we could not get them perfect, all the frames THOROUGHLY each window 3- 4 times and then let them dry and cleaned AGAIN just the glass this time, still spotting, fresh resin and water reading 000. any thoughts??

we had the same problem and a year down the line we still have the somw problems, obviously no where near as bad...   in our job you realise that we are a nation of moaners and complainers and no matter how hard you try you can not please some people.  Im glad to say though that now things are very settled with the pole and people have generally come to accept that this is the way it it..  we just do upstairs with the pole and make it more of a safety factor and also we generally get good results all the time without doing the top frame, we tell them if they want frames doing its extra and expect a few spots on the glass and people are more than happy with that..

stick with it because we would never look back

these ones were mostly all white pvc, some had the vents which we spent extra time again on, let dry in the GORGEOUS sun shine and then cleaned just the glass

I can't see why you're having problems.  What does your own house windows turn out when you've done them?

I did a 'social accommodation' block of flats for the elderly today.  All the South facing windows have oxidised, even though they're PVC (but always in full sun; when it's shining), and I never get complaints (and some of these residents are 'sheep in wolves clothing').

They all pay a service charge for their gardener and window cleaner.

Could the area that you're speaking of be a close knit place where they all have nothing better to do than 'gossip' about how bad their window cleaner is?

Have you been checking the windows yourself?

sounds like it could be the vents, upvc are  easier to clean, than any other type of frame

I think you might be splashing the vents by accident when you're cleaning the glass.

prob best to rinse off with pencil jets with low to moderate flow

Don't clean the vents.
