I think I can best answer that question!
The first issue of PWC was very well received by the industry, notably not just in the UK but overseas as well. We had a phenomenal interest from window cleaners and this positive response is very encouraging. Clearly, this is an industry resource that window cleaners have been waiting for.
However, this also caused us a need to look at how the magazine's will be produced in the future, and in order to cope with this (and the future demand) it has been necessary to restructure the publishing operation completely so that it can continue to be produced efficiently.
As a result, although PWC is bi-monthly magazine (printed every other month) there will be a delay in producing the second issue. We will be contacting all of the subscribers in the very near future to explain this, but at present, the 2nd issue is due to go to press at the end of next month (May).
Not only will this give as many people the opportunity to subscribe as possibe (thereby not missing an issue) but this will also allow us to complete our restructuring so that the future of the mag is secure.
Everyone hates delays, nobody more so than me, but in this case it has proved to be the best way forward to make sure that a quality, relevant publiction is produced long into the future. I am really pleased at the positive comments received regarding the first issue, most people did seem to enjoy it. I'm afraid we'll have to sit tight for the next issue, but it will be worth the wait!
