« on: April 07, 2009, 06:44:58 pm »
Just got my shurflo 100psi pump and was wondering what options i have of powering  it ?

Would like to put a plug on it and run it off  the house electric. Is this possible ?

You wanted a booster pump didn't you? Sounds like you've bought the wrong pump. ???

Bought it from a shop in Wolvehampton and explained my problem and asked if the shurflo pump would right the lack of power. They said it would.

Im not a mastermind and was just wondering if it was possible to put a plug on it.

So did you buy it for your ro unit to increase water production? If you did then take it back as it's the wrong pump for that by the sound of it. Should have a label stuck to the body giving the voltage etc.
Any chance of putting a link up of what you've bought or a picture?

shurflo do make booster pumps, maybe it would need a biggish transformer, but it sounds like the wrong pump

You need a 240v - 12v converter you can get them on ebay and it does work most RO van mounts are built this way with a Shurflo used as a booster pump, the converter will act as your plug.
