Well it certainly feels like it ! ;)
Sets out on Tuesday morning feeling great, and having a good day ahead.
Gets to a relatively new customers house and rings on,an couple of minutes later he comes to the door with the phone in his hand waves and goes back in, and I thought he was going to open the gates to the back of the house, so I waited did the front door trad  co’s the letter box leaks and Simon starts the front all wfp
So there I am still waiting ::) so I slip the pointer out of the van and prop it against the gate ( big wooden ones )reach over and undo the bolt I then remove the pointer to the wall and from the bottom of the gate slip my hand under and twist the bottom bolt so as I can now open the gate, ;D get the hose off and me pole and starts to set up
With in seconds he’s out the back door calling me a BAD MAN for climbing over his gate  :o :o :o and that the last time I did ??? that he had to re hang them , believe me the air was blue and the stream of abuse he was giving was well over the top every time I tried to say something he just  went right off again
Enough is enough so I said to Simon to pack up and he goes in
By this time my blood was boiling >:( >:( >:( we have now packed up I went around the back and tapped on the back door when he answered I as calmly as I could said that I had not climbed over his gate and that the last time we were there he had opened the gate for us , I also said he was lucky that I didn’t wack him for talking to me like that turned and left he was just stood their open mouthed  :o
So we lost a very good little £25 job  :'(
The next day Karma kicks in and I get three phone calls all from different areas on my round did the first one yesterday first clean £80 and then by monthly £30, :) and a job so big I have given our day rate as a guide and it will be a day and a half as the first clean due to the size and then that will be by monthly
Funny thing Karma but you never know what life is going to throw your way

Earl   ;D

any of you guys had the same ?

I have to say I've never had a customer shout at me or be abusive in any way at all.

I don't know whether its because I look 'ard az nails' (which I'm not - just look it) or whether its because I'm so friendly.

I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!

Sorry, RWC, I deleted it because it was really making fun of another post; but that wouldn't be obvious if you just read this post; and it probably wasn't an appropriate post anyway!
