SLX Question
« on: March 28, 2009, 09:07:28 am »
I want to take off the bottom standard (not extension) section of my new SLX for most of my domestic work - do you do a ferrule (that's an end-cap Tosh  ;D) that fits on the next - thinner - section up?

Malc Gold

P.S. To Tosh:- It will then be perfect for a new job I just got on the Newhouse Industrial Estate in Chepstow. ;D

You just need to buy a standard SL-X end cap.  It will fit perfectly.  In order to get them to fit the standard base section, we have to heat them up before pushing them on so effectively they fit two sizes of section (in fact if you heated them a bit more, they'd fit another size up!)

Thank you - I'll splash out and get a few - what's your minimum order value?

i must say i have used cleantecs end caps now for about three years and all i do is replace the pole not the end cap they have out lasted all my poles i have two sizes so i can take two sections off the slx

i think they are the best end caps on the market i think there about 5 pounds each but well worth it
