Far points on the profit issue.  Maybe I'm too regimented.

Also a crap speller and thats why i'm not an English teacher.  Anyway Ken, the people that voted are cant be wrong.

According to Payfinder.co.uk that average wage for a carpet cleaner is only £16k :'(

Does that include employed, self-employed or both though?

Interesting poll.

Egos will always get in the way when we discuss our turnover/profit/drawings.

People are drawing over 70k, that is interesting how many people do they employ?, and how long in business?

Drawings are dependent on our situations, ie if you have young kids, wife and mortgage-you need more money and hence more work, than someone who has himself to support and the missus (if you have one) is out to work This person can take it easy and run their business almost like a hobby.

I have met many business owners who are flash with the cash, and next thing you know the business is closed due to some other problem. (pocket rich and business poor).
What a sensibly bunch of cc, we are, leaving some profit for the business and only take enough drawings to survive.

Maybe a poll on the percentage of profit againist turnover, or is this too much of a headache!
