*Female window cleaners wanted for TV show*
« on: March 10, 2009, 04:39:42 pm »
Hi

Here's a great PR opportunity for someone. It's self explanatory - please contact Mollie directly if you're interested! Watch out Terry!!!!

Good luck

Mike

Hi Mike,

Good to talk to you just now. It’s great to speak to someone who sounded positive about finding a female window cleaner as I’ve not been having much luck until now!

As I said I am working on new show called Guinness World Records Smashed for Sky One. It is a brand new family entertainment show, presented by Steve Jones and Konnie Huq, involving world record attempts from huge stunts to silly studio based items.

The current window cleaning records (separate for female/males at the moment but we will combine) are;

Janine Guiseley (UK) cleaned three standard 1.14 m x 1.14 m (45 x 45 in) office windows set in a frame with a 30 cm (11.8 in) long squeegee and 9 litres (2 gal) of water in 25.38 sec at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK on 23 April 2005.

Terry Burrows (UK) cleaned three standard 114.3 x 114.3 cm (45 x 45 in) office windows set in a frame with a 300 mm (11.75 in) long squeegee and 9 litres (2 gal; US 2.37 gal) of water in 9.24 sec at the NEC, Birmingham, West Midlands, UK on 2 March 2005.

I have got Terry’s contact details so I’ll call him once I find a suitable lady who thinks they can give him a run for his money! Not an easy task but I’m sure there’s someone who can do it out there!

Any ladies you know that are interested I’d be more than happy to talk to, the more the better really initially. Please feel free to give out my contact details to anyone who would like to discuss the project with me.

Thank you ever so much for your help Mike, let me know how you get on and if there is anything I can do to help in the meantime.

Kind regards

Wor Lass is so short she even uses A Frames to clean cat flaps with; she's got no chance!

My missus is a window cleaner too 8)
I reckon I should put her into training to give Debbie (Dave's wife) a run for her money...we are hoping to go to the fed show later in the year and Carla will have a pop at it there! ;)

A good idea for a tv spot I guess but I think you will be unlikely to find one who will give Terry a proper run for his money.
