A customer rang me to leave my money in such and such place...went to get it, it had gone, so knocked on door and they couldnt understand...someone had stolen it, crazy, fairplay to them they paid me again, felt really bad about it.

Some people are unbelivable, they an old couple, the husband is dieing and someone goes and does that.

tell your customer to leave a cheque, or send it to you, saves that happening again.

i had one like this it turned out it was the wheele bin cleaner they paid and its not just the old folk has this happened to anyone you knock for payment and they know its two lots but they always go to give you one lot when you say its two lots they say O yes   (  WHY do they do this )

i had a young lad about christmas time knocking on custmers doors saying he  was collecting 4 his dad he even got 140 pounds from a nursing home.hes now on remand in armley

one one of my customer used that to get rid of me for the old window cleaner which dumped  him and wanted the job back.probably done it cheaper

they said that they left the money but haven't been that day in the area as was raining quite heavy and accused me of taking the money without cleaning the windows

i dont go down that route if any one offers to leave it lying about i tell them not to bother i will collect later saves embarrasment if it goes tits up

Same happened to me last year lady left money under plant pot and some jippo robbed it I put slip throught the door as usual thinking she'd forgot to leave it - she came back off her hols and rang me saying she'd left it and I said well it wasn't there - someone must have watched her put it there because she was a new customer of mine and I had been recommended through another customer of mine - It didnt look very good - but she was ok with it and now sends a cheque for advance payments...

It really pes me off when people cant keep there fingers to themselves!
