if your pump setup has a " pump controller " or you have fitted a by-pass valve

no harm done

I use a varistream on my trolley, 30 mtrs of hose would be no problem.
If you are using an 80 psi pump, it is designed to switch off when that pressure is reached, so again no problem.
Pressure switch problems are usually caused by the pump cycling, this is rapid on and off, and this only happens if you have any leaks in your system, or some water is getting through your shut off valve.
your system should be fine.
