Which machine for hard floor cleaning
« on: March 05, 2009, 07:50:44 pm »
Me again! ;D Thinking about buying a machine to clean hard floors, I've been looking at Numatic, does anyone have a specific model they think is best. Or another make?

Hi,

We use the twin speed Numatic switchable between 150 and 300 rpm.

That way you can do floors and bonnet with one rotary.  Pricey new though, so maybe try and get a second hand one?

Any low speed rotary will do the job, you can pick them up from ebay for nothing, I got ours, a numatic for £60 with hard and soft brushes and driveboard.  Anything too fast and you will spray stripper all over their walls, been there done it  :-[

It's also good to have a wet and dry vac, or you could use your CC machine with a hard floor tool/attachment for sucking up the stripper.
