can some that knows or a supplier answer this quesion for me:

I have a 17ft xtel gf grey one I ordered a replacement section for this pole and it is to long have i been sent the wrong one or am i meant to cut it to size? as it is a foot to long and is also orange  :

I know know why i just buy new poles instead of fixing them, but i am determind to try this one last time.

It's a section from a longer pole Ian.  Probably a 24 foot one.

Give Mike at Varitech a call on 01626 830830 and he will tell you if it can be cut down.

If not you will need the right section.

Some firms only keep the spare sections in the longer length, to cut down on inventory.

It is very simple to cut down, take off the tape, cut the end off with a hacksaw, replace the tape at about 17 cm up from the base and fit section.
