A real important bit for us would be if the software can analise your spend on marketing vs your sales from that spend.

Is that like in analise retentive or are you just talking out of your bottom?

I'm not being personal but I just couldn't help smiling at that unfortunate spelling.

I've found Kevin most helpful and I shall by buying CleanersMate next week all being well. It works very well and Kevin has been most open and helpful in response to my thoughts about it.

I do have an extensive database which has fallen behind in input because of my health issues and CleanersMate is just the impetus to get it upto date once I have had the database transferred over into it.

I too have purchased Cleaners mate and as said, Kev has been very helpful. Done nowt with ot yet though because January is meant to be quiet and I have been very busy so far so have told my better half to quit her part time job annd concentrate on this for me. She has a backround in mktg (educationally and practical) and she is impressed.

Kev is a real genuine guy I think that if you don't like it he'd just give you your money back.

I bought and use Cleaners Mate and now I have a pretty good idea of what I'm doing with it, I feel fortunate that it came to hand within the first few months of starting up. I know I need to spend more time on it to completely master it, but things are pretty busy at the moment which is good!

I can't wax lyrical enough about the service Kevin provides!

I'm quite impatient with computers Clinton, to say the least. But if you mess around on it a bit it becomes quite simple!

You can get a 1 months free trial to give it a go.... No obligation to buy and the assistance is there!

Good luck with it, but I think you'll have no problems!

Cheers, Col....

I paid £215 I think, don't quote me on that though!  A bargain I have to say.... If it was £500 I would have just had to wait a bit longer before buying it... ::) ::)

I'd read on CIU that something similar in America was the  around £2k mark.... :o :o

Hi i'm the Mark that brought camelot software which is fantastic, does every thing but i don't use it all,
this is no bulls**t, I have Camelot pro @ $2994.00 which is about £2000.00. If cleanersmate had been available nearly 2years ago i would have brought it at a fraction of the cost. for the person who thinks its BS go to

Mark,

So why aren't you using it? At that price I'd be on it every day..... How does it compare to CM or have you not applied for the 1 months free trial?

I didn't doubt the price at 2k, but when I initially read how much, I nearly choked on my tea!

Cheers, Col...

What is wrong with traking forms and calculators

I do think we complicate this bussiness

Been doing it that way for twenty years in all my direct marketing lives

Some of these things are just like shinny Truckmounts  so you can out flash oneanpther on Web Casts and forums

40 if you count retail aswell  Justv realised that makes me old

In my opinion you only need all this computer nonsense if you have multiple operations throughout country

Dragons Den  Peter Jones gets sales reports every five minutes how paranoid can you get

Think he sells software in PC World

I do use most of it, there is just so much, i put all customers in , i can just press a button and all there details are there, it tells me when i last worked for them, how much, where they got my number from etc, it comes with pre loaded letters, mailing labels. You funnel out any customers you want, say people who have spent over certain price, or custmers by source or post code etc. the bits i don't use are if they have pets, White coller workers etc. it does almost every thing but it is only as good as the info you put in to it. I Brought it nearly 2 years ago when the $ was 2.05 to the £.
one of the best investments i've made in my business, no looking back through old diarys/paper work.
