Is it worth doing a upholstery course ?
« on: April 12, 2009, 11:09:22 am »
I`ve done the carpet cleaning course and was thinking of doing the one day upholstery cleaning course too.
Any advise to weather this is worthwile or not ??
I know a different hand tool is needed for cleaning upholstery, but are there different methods that need to be learned ?

Do it!

Even after 29 years in our industry, I still try to do at least one new or refresher training course a year. Last year I did the IICRC UFT upholstery course and learned something new.

Upholstery is more technically demanding than carpets.

To quote a valued and trusted colleague and friend,  "I know enough to know I don't know enough"

I wouldn't even consider cleaning upholstery without having some training first.

SAFE and happy cleaning :)
