Have you an R/O because with a tds reading of that you need one. If you have a reading like that your resin needs changing.

441 is very high and you need an R/O to take out some of the impurities before resin.

If your taking your water down to 98% pure with an R/O, and then through a D/I your resin only has to take out 2% of impurites. Just using a D/I bottle the resin has to take out 100% of impurites and therefore exausts alot quicker.

You are in a well 'ard' water area :o You need an RO pronto.

Or a very big DI tank :-\

:) have got R O unit and D I resin had system for 19 months now making approx 1000 litres per week in garage. TDS is still zero and i am still on original tank of resin. (although i have changed the particle filter and the carbon filter twice in that time.)
IMHO get yourself an R O unit.  But keep the frost off it! :'(
