would it be ok to keep my ro unit on overnight outside next to my water butt, if it was wrapped in bubble wrap and sheeting.heard that cold and frost can cause damage to unit.not got a shed at the moment so hoping this will be ok.
any advice?

No problem, water flowing through it will also help to keep the frost out.

Yes,it should be fine as long as it's well wrapped up,even better try and build a wooden box for it and line it with foam for when it gets really cold, depends on the unit,if the waste is coming out slow it will freeze.

Watch out for the waste outlet freezing up though.
