A George question...
« on: December 07, 2008, 01:26:37 pm »
I now have a laptop and need to transfer my main George program onto it, I know this topic has been on before, but can anyone refresh me on how I go about this?
The laptop is remote from the home computer...ne're the twain shall meet, so how do I transfer it it to a memory stick...for instance?

Thanks Roy, but if I download it from the George site, won't I have to pay for it a second time?

no, because you will download the demo version. once you've transfered all your data onto your new computer it will use the same code you bought originally

So if I backup my data and save it onto a memory stick, I should then be able to upload it onto the demo verson and be up to date and all systems running....?

Hi Ian

You close down George, run the Data Restore program, select the backup you want to restore and click the Restore button.

It's handy if you make a mess of something and want to start again...
