What a brilliant engineer I have
« on: November 27, 2008, 10:51:03 pm »
The time, 9.40am, the place, a customer's house in Bramhall, Stockport. My Ninja has just died on me.

I have always had a positive mental attitude- a can do philosophy.

I phone my engineer, who lives in Whaley bridge, about 13 miles away to tell him my bad news. His response.....

"I'm at my mother's in Bramhall, I'll be with you in under 10 minutes."

10 minutes later he turns up, replaces the broken switch and electric cable and I am up and running again 15 minutes later.

(In the meantime my next client had phoned me to apologise and to say they would be delayed getting back home by 20 minutes and was this OK. Now I shall be early. Of course it's OK!)

He'll send me the bill after he's been round in a week's time to do a couple of other little jobs and do a PAT test. All very reasonable.

He's just earned another bottle of wine for his Christmas present. :D

Quality service....but there again he's always been that good.

Price...irrelevant. ;D

Hi Clinton

No! Not been looking down that way. Try and avoid the A6 if at all possible. Where abouts is it?
