I would like to invest in a wfp but i'm not convinced it will remove stuff that I am currently using a scraper for (i.e. dried on bird lime) etc.

It isn't as quick as a scraper, but it does get it off, if you notice it, just wet it and clean a couple of other windows before going back to it. You can also tip the brush onto its edge and use the plastic part of the brush to give it a bit of a scrape if there is a particularly stubborn bit of poo
Also, it isn't as if this is something you are going to find on every window either.

I've been going close to 12 months now with WFP, and I honestly can't recall having had a problem with bird poo, even on high windows, and yes, you can see it from the ground

As above have used wfp for three years now bird poo no problem Blackberry bird poo more dificult but still comes of, and if all else fails get one of then scrapers that fit ont a normal pole

Well I don't know what the birds eat around Graham's neck of the woods, but I've found bird poo comes off no problem.
Fly poo, now thats a different matter But that stuff isn't easy with trad methods either

I agree...no problems using WFP on anything organic on a window......silicone, paint bitumin etc...ok, a nightmare...but it would be with traditional methods too......so get a pole and fly through your day and make some real dosh in half the time !

How does WFP deal with those little spiders nests you get in a corner every now and then
I know with traditional they are stuck there pretty fast and when you do get them off they stick to the flaming glass.

I blast them out with the water after a good scrub with the end bristles on the brush.....should see the little beggars jump for it !

wfp definitely bad news for spider population.

snail trails are a pain, they take some effort, I reckon it's a french plot, sending there monster snails over here. I found 3 blocking a downpipe on a gutter today.
I wonder whether we could start collecting them and sell them back ?
