My wife works for a well known company who have occupied the historic building of a very well known vacuum manufacturer for a number of years.
Now there is only 18 persons that have occupied this building for some considerable time as each department has been moved to different locations.
Now this is the silly bit.
The rent on this building is £2, 000000 (million) per year. That equates to over £111,000 per person to sit at their desk 5 days a week (and all are just middle level admin).
So I wonder at exactly what point those high level decision makers of industry become completely insane, so I can stop before I get there.
