I had to do all this for a Hilton Hotel job; but I think it's probably best just to stick one in anyway.  It's not difficult; it's only another bit of paper (which I don't have; it's on my old computer) and it just ticks a box the customer wants ticked.

Why split hairs at the quoting stage and risk losing the job?

tosh they did ask for the public liability but im clever enough to show them that!!! too thick to come up wiv my own risk assesment etc haha.

dave i live in ellesmere port which is where i cover my domestic but would travel furthur afield for commercial up to birkenhead etc.iv not been going that long since august then got van stolen month n half ago so im in a vivaro now wiv magnetic signs til i get it done properly.

Doesn't need to be pages long just straight to the point, as someone has already pointed out it's mainly so they can say they have seen it, probably won't read it.

Think you might be getting an H&S statement (bare minmum requirement) confused with a H&S policy which covers EVERY task carried out within your company.
Its a bit more than
I clean windows
I use pole system
i don't use ladders
I safe!

Hi Rich,
What I sent you is a statement.
It is just the basics saying that you intend to run a safe job, but it doesn't say specifically how.
A policy is you telling them exactly how you intend to run the job safely, what measures you have in place, safety equipment, procedure in the event of an accident. It can be quite in depth as it has to cover everything you do.
