i have just acquired the 18 foot and i am very pleased with it,it is slightly lighter than the fibre glass one i was using but i dont think i would want to use a longer one because of the weight .Anything above this height and i use my modular but for a daily pole this suits me fine.

I bought the 25ft... shoud arrive tomorrow... but i'm worried about the weight. Brodex said this one (silver) is more lighter than the previous one (gold).

do you need that size? If not why not take a section off and stow it.What weight is the one you have?

:(The pole as arrived today...  it's very heavy! I'm going to send it back. The one i have is a (universal) glass-fiber, 18ft. Even putting the brand new brush dual-trim from Gardiner the Prolong still  heavy. The only thing i have done was buy a bigger pole... Maybe have a go with a Hybrid and Carbon X-TEL,28ft, from Gardiner Poles System. What do you think??
And thanks for your support in this matter.

you want a light pole

OR

build your own, at first you have to get used to using it, but after a day or 2, modular is great and you will not get lighter

If you can get one try the 25ft SLX pole from gardner.  Its the lightest pole for its size (except modular).  Xtel are garbage.  Buy an SLX and you will not want to use another pole.
