Help with quote for cleaning the building
« on: September 16, 2008, 05:40:34 pm »
You guys helped me about a  few weeks ago with pricing the building for window cleaning. I got that job and did it today so thank you very much everyone, but today they asked me to quote for cleaning the front of the building.

They want me to clean the white space between the first floor and ground floor windows, the white space under the ground floor windows and corrugated area at the far end of the building (Floor to top of 1st floor window)

Nothing at the sides or back of building, just the front.

How much? This will be a one off job

Thanks in advance

Adie

To be honest the white areas between and under the windows arent too bad. Just a bit of surface dust but the corrugated area has lots of cobwebs.

How do you it? On the corrugated area do you brush it with a dry brush first and then wfp?

The fascia clean something along the lines of £180 as already said, bit hard to see what they want exactly, if it was covered in algae I could understand it, just a sweep-off ??? ???

The glass 3 monthly £75

They should ask for the two to be done together, you'd do it for £150, 2  hours max surely.

I will be doing it 6 monthly but todays first clean took me 6 hours inside and out. Windows and frames were filthy.
I expect it to take me 3 hours next time (1 hour outside and upto 2 hours inside)

I Wont say how much I charged but it was a lot more than £75!!

PS No algae, just dust on th white bits and corrugated panels at the end have lots of cobwebs. nothing too major
