Friendly (always smile and make pleasant chit chat)
reliable (always be on time)
flexible (remember you customer is employing you, so give then slots that suit them)
honest (if you have broke something, or make a mistake, be upfront and fix it, don’t leave if for the customer to discover later)
high integrity (not just honest, but prove you not a crook by showing your licence, and let them know it included a criminal background check if you think the persons door your at is worried about you, put them at ease)
are polite (always ask permission to do things in customers property, let them feel in control, this will also put them at ease)
Reasonably priced (it never serves to be the cheapest window cleaner in town, you wont be around for long, although it doesn't also serve to be the dearest as you will struggle to keep a hold of your customers - I still do today my first every window cleaning customer)
Professional Appearance and conduct (If think this is very important, you should always be clean shaven and well dressed, ironed shirt etc, not just jeans and t-shirt but some sort of uniform, it sets the right impression and is intimidating to your competition, and of course be professional, don’t pee round the back of there house or disrespect them or there property in any manor)
Always do the best you can (it isn’t always possible to get glass perfect with access issues or the condition of the windows but always do the best possible job you can, and you will never have any complaints that are deserved)
Enjoy your job, happy and possitive attitudes are contagious, and you will find people give you more time of there day.
