I've been using my vikan fan jet brush head for a year now, it's only rubbed down a little on the sides but it's still working great. I use it for everything inclucing upvc jobs. (I don't clesan my teeth with it tho!  ;D) I've gone through 2 poles and a replacement section of my current pole pole in that time! >:( I use the grey coloured xtel pole.

my brush lasted me two and a half years but i have a few poles now so one brush is not always used.

i go through some money on connectors ez snap fittings last about 6-10 weeks and my brass hoze lock for my hose reel last about 2 months it really pees me off when i get leaks some one should invent a indestructable connectotres that last forever i would save a fortune.

When you say you go through connectors, what goes wrong with them? All i find is that the rubber ring gets worn and makes it leek alot so i replace the rubber ring and alls well.

I might start collecting poles in parts just so i have a spare (and affordable) pole. Same with trolley, i make sure i have a spare wheel etc.
