Hi all,
I've given in to the WFP craze and decided to get a starter system to get me going. I just wandered what you guys thought of this system, or if any of you have had any experience with it?

Thanks

Would only be any good for a soft water area. I would recomend a bigger RO system. A starter system is a false economy get one that will last you for a long time. I bought a 300 litre system and will probably have to be upgrading to a larger one within a year. Doh!!
Cheers

I have to consider my facts though: I'm only 20, with 1 years no claims, currently trying to get my 2nd. Insurance(commercial) on an Escort van for me is £1100 TPFT. Then I'd have to buy the van. Then I'd have to buy the Escort van WFP system (£1700) It's all a bit too expensive for me at the moment. Therefore I have to stick to a car system. However, I am in a soft water area (50ppm). So what would you guys reccommend?
Appreciated

Kit comprises of
125 L Water supply tank (L110xW30xH50cm)
22/55cm Resin tank prefilled
18’ residential pole with plastic head and 11/28cm VIKAN brush
50m Tricoflex 1/2" hose and hose reel
Inline filter and powerful 60psi 12v pump(8.3L/minute)
TDS Meter and case
All fittings and connections (excluding power supply to pump)
Full assembly instructions
here is my opinion
each bold bit as it comes
125 L Water supply tank (L110xW30xH50cm)
you might need a little more water than this, get a few 25 L barrels (would most prob only need 2) though saying that you could partly refill using the Resin tank (see below)
22/55cm Resin tank prefilled
I would get over to RO man and buy a cheap 50 gall per day RO unit (about 60 quid) for filling your tank up at home in the night, then just use the Resin tank to fill from a customers tap in the day (at lunch time etc), will save you in the long run
apart from that, its a great starter system
though personally i would go down the Trolley route rather than the car/van mount system

Thanks Matt.
I live with my parents so to have the filtration system at home is'nt really possible. Do you actually have the system or any experience with it?
Cheers , J

No i built my own system, a Trolley system, built it using spare parts availlable in Various places
i thought on the Car/van mount, BUT i thought it would be a pain, i have street of work, so get my Trolley out in the morning and it stays out all day (till its time to go home)
i Will PM you
