anyone got any clever ideas for keeping it tidy
and/or makng it quicker and easier to use
i know you can get lay flat
but mine is inch and a quarter,ribbed and 20 mtrs long
ooer  missus
and while we are on the subject
can sub pumps be left in the tank
or can this damage them
and what about any metal parts reacting with pure water

im have the same issue, im looking at 2nd hand fire hose reels ,they normally go for £30 on ebay

ive left my sub pump in for the last few months with no problems yet

my pumps been in water for over 16 months and never effected tds , to get a firemans hose reel contact your local fire station they may be able to help its worth a try .

Before i sold my old IBC tank to your good friend Marcus i had my sub pump in there for 7 months with no problems...

I just lay mine on the IBC in a coil shape.  I always make sure that the part of the hose nearest the tank is at the bottom of the coil.  Makes it so much easier.  Good idea to fit a tap on the end too in case it gets knocked off somehow and the water syphons.

just put in tank with hole in end to atach cord pull cord out the end pops lo lo
