If you’re not sure, drill a hole into a piece of wood first with the drill bit you’re thinking of using and test the jet in that.

I have an old brush which has predrilled holes.
A 4.5mm drill bit is too small and a 5mm drill bit is too big. I have a feeling that it is a 4.8mm drill size.
You could always just email Gardiners and confirm the size.
