removing mould from w/machine door seal
« on: July 17, 2008, 06:49:20 am »
This keeps coming up on eol cleans.

The products we have tried simply dont work and our supplier said the ones they have had in the past are no good so they dont stock them anymore.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Si

Well we dont use a special chemical specially designed for that purpose.

Its just hard work, we use bleach! If you research it, bleach fights against mould, helps builds up a wall to prevent it comming back... correct if am wrong

I was under the impression that under health and safety law we cant use bleach.

This is fairly thick and I cant see it working anyway.

Also isnt there a risk of leavign bleach in the machine for the next load of washing!

Bleach diluted with water and a little bit of washing-up liquid is normally the recommended solution. Use a plastic scourer if needed. You can always rinse the seal with clean water afterwards to remove any bleach residue.

Try Flash Spray with Bleach or Flash Mildew Stain Remover
