I'm tempted to give spic 'n'span the £150 quid they want for a full listing. I have a free one at the moment and had no enquiries from it.

Would this be money well spent?  Or money down the drain?

I had a paid listing for three months and got no enquiries so I reverted to the free listing.  I did see a list of the areas that the adverts for Spick and Span were delivered to.  My area wasn't on the list.  If your area is on the list maybe you will get enquiries.

I advertise with Yellow Pages & Yell.com which are both paid adverts.
I get plenty of work from them plus my website.
I've tried other advertisements & find it a waste of money.
I'll put a free ad with them but that's all.
I've wasted thousands of pounds over the last 3 years and put my money to better use.

I have tried this year with yell.com paid but have had nothing from it. The salesman convined me that commercial will look on the web rather than the yellow pages. If thats the case then why am I still getting calls from the yellow pages and not yell.com

Waste of money not a single enquiry and only 4 yes 4 hits on my website from it.

I think I have been on it just under a year and WILL not be renewing, put your money to better use.

I suppose it depends on the area as to whether it works or not, but I will not pay out for it again as it costs a lot and they dont half go on at you to get it.
