Getting my website optimised
« on: July 06, 2008, 04:29:44 pm »

My website is now up and running, is there anything I can do to optimise the site.

To exchange links do I need my web guy to add another page to the site, solely for this purpose?

I have spent the weekend listing the business on as many free business listing sites as I could find.

Would it make a difference if I listed lots of towns at the bottom of my home page : example: Chesterfield, Bakewell, Hope valley, Dronfield etc...?

Any other good tips? Oh and how the hell do I add my website to my profile?  :-\

Paul

hey Hope Valley and Dronfield, Dronfield Woodhouse and Coal Aston are mine!

they are the furtherest I go, you can have my Chesterfield recommends when I get them.

Shaun

PS got a shop in Dronfield so that's why I trade there.

with respect you should have done this first. i made the same mistake. you need to have all your keywords and longtails before you start to write your text on your site. do this first

Then start to build good one way links for pages that pass on PR.
