what i dont understand is why you are letting your water get to so many ppm to start with ?

My 4040ro membrane is starting to die it seems to creep up a little every day i have a new one on order and new pre-filters...
Anyway i cleaned today with 21tds and they come up perfect again  ..

Ian i changed my resin back in May and thats now shot through aswell.

Bazz I have njot read every post as a lot or just fillers, what size di you have what ro what tds out of tap.

I have 470+ out of tap 20 (ish out of ro) 4040 ro twin di's inline 2/3 months more sometimes 650L a day 5 days a week

booster takes it down to 9 but broke (fosters  )

p.s I am not happy with over 000 for said reasons 

Ian its a 4040ro and only a single 11L di canister and i get through around 400L a day 4/5 days a week.
I have got a new membrane on order and pre-filters (Alex where are they) and half a bag of new resin left..
I know what your saying about it has to be 000tds but ive got no choice cleaning with high tds at the moment...

Ian how long should a 4040ro membrane last?
Ive had mine since Jan 2007, i thought it would last longer than that and i flush it before every fill..
