big sighs

just started a new guy last week with all prospects of sending him off and my other chap in a seperate van, said he was all up for it

did a week with me last week, monday, texted me to say he was ill yesterday and today...i sent a message to him saying i need someone out every day are you interested in the job or not, replied i do like it but cant see me doing it long term. so sacked him straight away

sighs, all this work and at the momment only me to do it as my other chap is working away for 3 months...great :-[

I know how you feel mate i had a lad working for me ,he was a best mate i needed more work
to keep us full time which some i bought ,when i got to that stage he decided window cleaning was not for him and that was after 3 months of him being on and off the sick

Maybe in the future will do it again it was all too stressful for me at the time and  doing more work now on my own
At the time i had big plans and it was working out that within two years i would have 5 people on the road but stress was the killer for me nevermind  :-\

If your after a LAD that`s what you`ll get someone who dosen`t give a S*** about how much work you have to do or how far your behind with it,you need to get someone that has bills to pay like you so they have to come in to work.If they don`t have bills and a mortgage i wouldn`t give them the job,LADS only live for the weekend they need the week in between off to recover.

LWC - a bit of advice.

30-40 year olds.

they are the group most likely to put the effort in.

any younger and they aren't interested in working, they just want to drink all weekend.

any older and normally aren't fit enough.

I know this is complete stereotyping but its the way it is in general.

Guys between 30 and 40 normally are still fit, have a family and need to provide for them.  Train them well, pay them well and treat them well and you've got a good chance of getting a decent return from them.

my other chap is 48 and to be fair he is brillaint!

this new guy is 40

all being managed by a 23 year old, poor chaps
