Car upholstery: steam clean vs wet n dry
« on: June 01, 2008, 09:40:09 pm »
Hi everyone I'm seeking some expert advice.
I recently spilt some tomoto sauce on my car (light coloured fabric) seat, I tried to remove it using 'vanish' spray and it has now left what looks like a stain or water mark behind.
To add to the problem I also spilt some fruit juice on the the other side and now have to large stains which irritate me!!

Before I make an even bigger mess I thought I'd ask the question if it's better to use an alternative method???

I was considering buying either a little steam cleaner or wet n dry vacuum cleaner in hope they'd do a better job.
Or perhaps I should keep with the methods and use more elbow grease??!??

Your thoughts and suggestions are appreciated, many thanks.
