Just taking the nozzle out shouldn't affect the angle of the jet.

More probable that the 'fan' created when the water comes out isn't straight.

Check the angle the other one is pointing in and try to match it, you should see a difference then.

If this isn't the problem, then you may not have cleared the nozzle completely... just a thought.

Try lining the slit on the nozzle parallel with the arm

It shouldent matter, (edit, as long as you put them both straight again!)

look  how your nozzle is on the lance, you want the fan effect under the fsc in line with the bar (you can work this out, just think about what is happening under the fsc). tighten each nozzle up untill the slit is running parallel with the bar. both nozzles should look the same and be in the same position, the angle of the bar will do the rest

If your no better off,

grease the bearing, run water through the bar minus the nozzels, get the nozzles up to the light again and check they arnt blocked, finally the rotary bearing may of got damaged and need replacing.

on a final note has the bar become bent, this will slow it down, upto 1 cm bend is as far as you want to let it bend (imo) before you replace it.

turn whurlaway over (point away from you and others) hold trigger in one hand with other hand jam a brush seel under the arm to jam it from spinning. Squeeze trigger and look at the nozzle patterns, are they even and full flow? Also look if water is coming from anywhere else other than 2 nozzles IE the grease/condensate drip hole in botto of bearing housing it shouldn't be.
A pressure gauge is usefull in diagnosing faults, on the line not in the head of the pump
I'm always in the poo, it's just the depth that varies
