overtrousers for drive cleaning
« on: May 17, 2008, 10:06:46 pm »
i bought a pair of waterproof overtrousers for drive cleaning but they haven't lasted long as they've now got big rips in them. I want to know where the more exprienced drive cleaning guys get there's from.

Is there somewhere on the internet i can buy some from?

I want some really heavy duty thick plastic hard wearing ones that wont rip after a bit of use.

You could try waders, the sort used for fishing.
They are good for staying dry from spray but you do sweat a bit in them.

I use mine if I am working at night as they help stay warm too.

i always use the gortex ones from an army surplus store they are fully waterproof very light and yet still breathable so you dont sweat like a pig, if you go to an outdoor pursuits store they cost about £90 a pair at the army surplus store their £28 but last for ages and dont tear easy.
