Cleaning stairs & common area maintenance
« on: May 06, 2008, 07:55:40 pm »
Most of my work is cleaning common areas like stairs/basements. Also office cleaning.

Changing lightbulbs in the stairs is another area that I have been asked to venture into recently.

Does annyone have a rough idea of what you would charge for doing this. The bulbs in my offices come in at 50p per bulb. The stair areas are about £2.00 per bulb.

Any help much appreciated.

You will need to get the gardener to do the bulbs and an electrician to change lamps on the stairs

We change light bulbs when we do the hall way cleaning and charge 1-50 for a normal light bulb then 5 pounds if we have to take a diffuser of, Hogan bulbs we charge 7-50 and the low energy ones 10 pounds, we once chatted to a chap that changes light bulbs for many companies and he has a min price of 25 pounds, so you can charge a good price
