An Employee
« on: January 20, 2005, 10:33:02 pm »
Hi, im thinking of taking on an Employee i would prefer a young lad but who knows, bearing in mind i will earn about £30-35 an hour with a lad or whoever. I know that working in a factory at best would pay about £7.50 an hour but i have no idea what would be fair to pay?

Depends on where you are.  Bearing in mind the minimum wage a good rate of pay would be £5.50 - £6 per hour, don't forget on top of this you will have Employer NI to pay!
