Bad Days!!!
« on: March 26, 2008, 08:56:48 pm »
So yesterday,

Van develops a problem, have to hire one in at short notice and ££££! Drop off my van at garage, ask mother to pick me up and she gets rear ended!

I later Get the call to pick up my own van from the garage, if i want it fixing it will be £800+ at least! but it might be better to get rid! Not a horrendous day but not one i want to repeat, especially after last week nearly finding myself the proud owner of a broken 10k mini digger, (it was on its side, looking rather ill)!

Ever feel like it just aint worth the hassle? I cant afford to work, its far too expensive!

so I throw down the gauntlet.............  weve all had em, what was yours?

Since we started trading a year ago, my business partner's daughter was diagnosed with cancer and died a month ago (aged 20).

One of my best cleaners is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

No matter how bad my day is, I know it's nothing compared to what others are going through. I don't complain about my life now - I just get on with it.

Its a really good point,

In reality we never have to look far to find someone who has it worse than ourselves.

On a lighter note my mate works in a garage, afew years ago a brand new jag came in with a squeek. He left it in gear and went off after asking someone else to have a quick listen. He started the engine by leaning in (not getting in), The jag set off down the workshop and the guy slipped so couldent stop it before it went into a ramp half way up. this went through the windscreen and ripped the roof off.

On the positive side, it seemed to of got rid of the squeek!
