Back to work Monday
« on: March 15, 2008, 12:10:27 pm »
As a few of you know my Mum died 2 weeks ago. So havent been working these last 3 weeks. Her funeral was yesterday.

So, now its time to get back to work. Im miles behind but the forecast for next week looks good. It'll be good for me to get back and reinstate a routine and try try try to impose some discipline to get up and get going.

I hope things go well for you next week.

i know how you feel mate (don't you just hate it when people say that?),
but its true, i do.
my dad passed two years ago on the 29th of this month, i spoke to him on the sunday, he died on the wednesday and we put him in the ground on saturday.
its not easy getting back into work again after something like that, but i truly think its a good place where you can start to get things back on track.
most people will understand why you are late on your rounds, if you choose to tell them that is?
time is definately a good healer, just keep reminding your that they wouldn't want you to be sad, thats how i got through it.
it does get easier.

take care mate ;)

really sorry to hear about your loss Matt.

Wish there was something I could do, as I'm sure most of us feel the same.

Best of luck Matt B, back to work is the best thing.
My Mum died of COPD in 2005, and they say time is a great healer, but like you said Mother's Day will never be the same..... your right it ain't...
On a positive note I am sure our Mum is in a much better place having a great time & back drinking her fav whisky  ;D
