Advice needed
« on: March 15, 2008, 02:36:24 pm »
Hi, I have recently bought 2 x 1000 litre IBC tanks to store water as we keep running out during certain days.
I am currently filling both vans (650 ltr) then putting a submersible in to pump to the holding tanks.
This proving to be very time consuming.

The two tanks are outside as I have no space in garage.
Question:  1.can i put a setup onto the IBC,s to make the pure water
2.Does it matter if it,s outside
                  3. What type of system would i need to use that would be sufficient.

also would it be easy to setup as I am not very mechanical/technical.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Robbie

very simple

4040 RO feeding into the two static tanks - link pipe from outlet of tank 1 to tank 2 (so they essentially act as one tank) then put a sub pump into one of the tanks - job done, 2000ltr storage.
I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!

As above but put the 4040 inch RO system in the garage (To protect it from freezing) and just pipe the outlet to the IBC inlet.
