Template or not template that is the question
« on: March 09, 2008, 08:56:17 am »
Morning men!

As some of you may be aware I know nothing about the internet and how it all works and to be honest It doesnt really interest me that much. BUT! I know i could save money on google etc if I know what the hell I was doing, My first question is what is the difference ( apart from price ) between templates and not template sites? my site should you wish to view and give your views on ( please be gentle with me ) is www.maxcarpetandupholsterycare.com. It doesnt conform to the norm I know, but you will be suprised how many people have comented on it how easy, straight to the point and simple it is. This is the way I like to run my business which goes against most local CC. I look forward(ish) to your coments.

Cheers!

Justin

I'm feeling better now buy the way.

Justin,
Just out of interest, do you have much luck with the machine hire side of the business?

Maybe a bit too much reading, I think keeping it a bit more simple is a better option.

None really, as long as you are able to alter the title, meta tags etc and have complete control over it then it should be fine, some templates are not so good...some are.. have a look at the first one in my sig, thats a template site, the second one down isn't..

Fill your link pages with recip links, that will push up your rankings, particularly if you can exchange with carpet cleaning related sites. Add one on each of our sites if you want.  ;)
