Hi Guys

I have noticed some people putting links on forums making them virtually unreadable.

So here is a solution , simply copy and paste the url link into www.tinyurl.com and it will give you a shorter link which you can copy and paste back here.

So              http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=51501.new#new

becomes    http://tinyurl.com/3cut76

Get the admin to update the board, to automatically make the links smaller. Problem solved.

this advice will let evil people who run other sites ( like me, e.mail me for the link to the DIY site, it'll save you money ) link to the site that way

of course i knew about this, but as im very well behaved and a model forum member i have never done it

If you cant get them to contact you to take your money, imagine trying to make contact when you have an issue you need there assistance with.

Ive given up trying to join and will wait to see if they get there act together!

Maybe jumping on this thread is not the best place to get a responce ?.

The guy you needed to speak to was on holiday. We are extremely short staffed and have had some major changes so things are a bit up in the air at the moment.

We have changed secreteries as well and  we have to try to decipher whats what, also we are still waiting for a batch of certificates etc as they have gone missing.

I am extremely sorry you have not been contacted.

I made contact with the APWC twice during September 07 about joining but didnt receive any response.

I like what the APWC is about in theory, but as I mentioned to Ronnie I am now going to bide my time and wait to see if it becomes something worth joining!

Was it by phone or email ?

Trouble is somethings are out of my hands and have to trust that other people are doing there job properly.
Some people promise so much then never deliver.

We dont have money like the fed for people to answer the phones and do all the paper work all day, we have to try to do everything in our spare time, which is in short supply these days.

Every now and then you need to take a breather or you will go crazy.

I apologise to anyone who has had trouble making contact, normal service will be resumed shortly.

I fully understand peoples concerns and wouldnt blame you if you looked elsewhere.

We will be holding a meeting next week to iron out a few teething problems.

Sorry, my heads all over the place at the moment , dont know if i am coming or going.

I am only human and can only apologise so many times.

I did try getting the right guy to phone you, i promise you i did, he was busy before he went away and never got around to returning my call.

I dont know when he is back , tried phoning his mobile today but couldn't get through.
