Alan- we looked into going on the course last year when we started Power cleaning.
I did a survey with all my clients at the time over 600.
The cost of the materials and then applying were far to much for what people would pay so we decided to just clean and resand drives.
There is a local company that do it near me and they struggle to get a lot of work in.
One of my clients approached me 6 months ago about cleaning his bl,ock paving and re-sanding.
Charged him £300
He had had a quote from this other company for over £1100.
People are not going to pay that sort of money.
Hope this helps but make your own assumptions
Thanks Robbie

Hi
I attended this course and drove from Manchester for the Training
The course was very informative and i returned with a number of freebies including 25l of Resiblock superior which earned me 250 pounds plus on my first job.
I WOULD SAY WELL WORTH THE INITIAL FEE
regards
Billy
PS I use Resiblock on most of my jobs and have no problem selling this service despite offering cheaper alternatives.

yes i went on the course, out of around 40 quotes to seal i have had 5 jobs, the customer is just not prepared to pay the price, wand the glossy finish just goes matt anyway after a couple of months. but saying that i would not use anything else on a drive other than that. seen some cheap sealers and they ruined drives.

What you got to remember guys as well is if you clean and re-sand they will need doing again anually so you can build up a good client base but when you are sealing as well is there a need to still clean it anually or not.
Maybe some of the guys who use resiblock can give more insight.
Personally think you can still get more work by just cleaning and re-sanding.
I think on the whole it is not a business where you can be working 40 hours per week so we use it as a nice add on to the business.
Thanks Robbie
