Hi, i want to transfer george programme to my laptop downstairs,

frightened of messeng up.

i know about the transfer wizard etc, still wary 

i can send it via email (laptop dif address)....

or copy to disc and play disc on ;aptop..

not up on these thing,

has anyone done it.

maybe i answered my own question, but i just want to be sure.

Do you save your backup to your hardrive each day when you use george if so just email your latest one to your laptop.

Then download george again and use the data restore program from the george website.

That way you cant mess it up and it will only take a few minutes to do.

Once complete just uninstall george from you main computer

just one thing... if i simply sent it as email transfer, would i not just get the whole up to date george anyway?.... to my laptop

well theres no need really.

just as paul says send it to your laptop and download george inport all your data  everything is on the little data file.  take about 5mins tops

The file you need to send is called "Backup.geo" and it's in the C:\George\Backup folder.
